Greetings Moonchild!

We are nearing the end of the year. That coupled with the New Moon phase makes it a super conducive time to reflect. So let’s put on our introspective hats and gather our experiences and lessons.

Keep about an hour aside for some serious me-time.

I would recommend that before your process, sit down, close eyes, place your palm on your heart and direct your breath into this area for about 5 minutes.

Those who love chanting, do the 'Om Som Somaiyah Namah’ chant 14 times.

What is your method of introspection?

Whether it’s journaling or speaking into an audio recorder or talking your heart out to someone, choose.

Here are some leading questions:

1. How has the last year been for me? (all that unfolded and maybe some things that did not go as per plan)

2. How was I through it all?

Did any of these change me and how? (my thinking, habits, behaviors, interaction with others etc.)

3. How do I feel now with the benefit of these experiences?

4. Am I already able to see the lessons and learnings from these?

Sit with these and add on (write/record) over the next couple of weeks.

Be compassionate and patient with yourself as you process and feel deeply and allow the learnings to surface. Let’s start taking baby steps into the New Year :) More on the next Full Moon!

Much love & gratitude

Sheetal
