Hello Moonchild :)
On October 28th/29th we experience a Full Moon and a Lunar Eclipse. In India, this partial eclipse timing is 1.06-2.22AM on the 29th.
What can you do in preparation?
This is the continuation of the eclipse season that began with the Solar Eclipse on October 14th. I would recommend that you read my guidance for that and do it if you haven't already. Let it process over the next couple of days till the Full Moon/Eclipse.
KEYWORDS FOR THIS ECLIPSE SEASON - A reminder

Eclipses bring forth destined events, fueling much needed transformation in life. So the theme at play will be magnified, and so will your emotions and feelings. It is upto you to become aware of all of these and decide how you want to navigate the time wisely. Know that there is a tendency to react and blow things out of proportion. That definitely is not the right thing to do, for you then miss the deeper lesson.
The eclipse season holds immense power for release and endings, which means space is created for wonderful new beginnings. If you followed the guidance for the Solar eclipse, you may already have some clarity on this. Let me add on to that. See if you resonate with this. There is a high chance that something or someone is forcing you to change the way you think, perceive and act. Your natural tendency is to resist or react (i.e. you fall back on your patterns). And that is what needs to be released/transformed. Pause to absorb this.
It is not a YOU vs. OTHERS,
but a YOU vs. YOU that is playing out.
It is all about the struggles within you (beliefs, perception, conditioning etc). If harsh words/thought/plans of action occur to you, simply become aware that they have surfaced. Decide to delay your judgements and responses. Instead plan to take a mindful journey into your inner world. Aim to settle into your deep space of calm and quiet where all the answers lie. Achieve this through reflective and meditative practices, the effects of which are strengthened by the eclipse. Once you have quietened down and touched your authenticity, feel free to get perspective from people in your life whose inputs are impartial and objective.
So, slow down, do your inner work, be patient, allow the eclipse season to reveal it's magic to you :)
Approach it right and you will come out of it empowered with clarity, inner strength, peace, self acceptance and some new gifts in the form of skills or talents that you were not tapping into. It is all pointing towards an evolution, the rise of a new you.
GUIDANCE FOR THE 28TH/29TH
A. Before anything, pause to look back at your journey from the last eclipse season in April/May this year. You have come a long way! Take a moment to appreciate yourself for holding yourself through everything. GIve yourself a big tight hug!
B. Practise this guided meditation
This is a meditation I put together a year ago and is very relevant for this time. You can do this on the evening of the 28th after Moonrise. If required repeat it over the next couple of days.
What is your way forward?
1. Keep referring to the keywords every few days. If needed print them out and stick the paper where you can see it often.
2. Start observing the waning Moon everyday as a reminder to staying aware of your theme. You can do a Moon gazing or Trataka as a meditation daily. Gaze at the Moon softly and close your eyes maintaining the image in your eyebrow centre. Keep eyes closed till the image disappears. Then open your eyes and repeat. Maintain a calm slow breath throughout. You can do this for a few minutes.
3. Stay open to insights-they may come to you in meditation or when you wake up or through people you interact with or even as dreams. Take action mindfully (it could also mean consciously not taking action) and be prepared to go with the flow. The path may not be a bed of roses, but will be strewn with tests that are meant to bring out the best in you.
Sending you all love and healing energy!
Gratitude
Sheetal
