Hello Moonchild :)

On November 26th/27th we have last but one Full Moon of 2023. And so it is time to look back at how the year has been for you.

As humans and given the state of the world and our lifestyles today, it is but natural that our focus remains largely on the shortcomings. I also sense from my experience and observations that the last couple of months have specially been hard for many, with setbacks on the health front amongst family and friends. Sending you all loads of good energy towards healing!

That said, it is also time to CELEBRATE everything you have achieved to whatever degree so far :) Keep some aside this evening or tomorrow. Centre yourself and take 21 breaths with awareness in your heart space, keeping your inhales and exhales almost equal. Then answer the following questions in writing.

In the last one year,

  • What made me come alive?

  • What has made me feel a sense of achievement? (could be even work you did on yourself towards healing/self discovery/transformation)

  • What all am I grateful for?

Once you finish, read what you have written. Hold the energy that is surfacing for you in your heart space. Allow it to flow to all parts of your body till you are brimming with the energy of celebration and gratitude.

It is a great idea to end with some music and dance! Invite others to join in as well :)

Close by offering gratitude to the Earth and the Moon.

On a side, a few of us hiked up a hill next to Avathi lake on the outskirts of Bangalore to watch the Full Moon last evening. The weather was perfect while we bonded, shared stories and celebrated with a practice as Luna rose to her glory! Gratitude to Maggie at Happifeet treks for organizing this soulful experience! Here are a few pictures from the hike. To stay updated on these events, follow me on instagram.

Wish you all a Happy Full Moon practice!
