Hello Moonchild :)

Hope you are holding space for yourself this December!

On this Full Moon (7th December,2022), look back at what you unearthed under the November Dark Moon – if not, do that ritual first! (This is important).

Today, we continue the end-of-year introspection.

Go through a gentle movement practice to release tension and open up the body for the ritual. Sit down, close eyes.

If you love chanting, do the ‘Om Som Somaiyah Namah’ chant 14 times.

Place your palm on your heart and direct your breath into this area for about 5 minutes. Then visualize a luminous Full Moon in your eyebrow centre, take a few breaths asking the lunar energies to guide you.

Choose your introspection method - journaling or speaking into an audio recorder or talking your heart out to someone to answer the following questions.

1. What are my top learning/s from 2022?

2. What do I need to do to recalibrate my energies towards ensuring a fresh start for the next year?

Pointers:

Do you need to Let Go of something?

A perspective or habit or quality or aspect within you or a pattern identified.

Time/interactions with some people.

Adverse feelings and emotions associated with something that has happened.

Forgiveness to the self or another

Do you need to Accept & Embrace?

Accept yourself, reduce overthinking and worry, remind yourself of existing blessings, your gifts, abilities

Accepting others for who they are – including flaws

Accept situations that are not in your control – worry and fixation cannot change them.

Building the belief that you are exactly where you are meant to be and what is meant for you has and will continue to make its way to you.

3. How am I planning to do this?

(techniques to stay on track/new activities to take up to boost the right energies/help from others to maintain accountability)

If it has to do with routine and habit– start one day at a time.

If it is about breaking patterns - the next time you are in the situation change your response. Then apply it again and again and again :)

Super Important: Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for every small win at the end of the day.

Take action! Be compassionate and patient with yourself as you take baby steps into the New Year :)

Much love & gratitude

Sheetal
